Spring Greetings Fellow Earthlings,
Welcome to Taurus, a feminine Earth sign, that signifies
it’s time for some reflection after our time in masculine Fire of Aries. The feminine energy signifies the mystery
of our inner journey and how we experience life (the Queen of
reflection); while the masculine energy signifies the magic of our outer aspirations how
we express life (the King of action). Since we contain both
feminine and masculine essences, understanding and balancing the two moves us
closer to wholeness and the Dance of Soul & Spirit: Our human evolution
toward a generous spirit and a grateful heart. ~
The Taurus
focus is on our values “what we hold dear” (ex. self-sufficiency, inner peace, possessions, comfort, &
taking-it-easy etc), in short, it’s time to ponder and clarify “what do you
hold dear?” In my chart Taurus falls
across my 6th and 7th houses (vocation, health, &
relationships) and my Moon resides in Taurus’ natural 2nd house home,
so for me clarity around ‘what I hold
dear’ is a topic close to my heart.
Since we
often tend to get too serious around our values and since we’re living in a
time of ‘paradigm shifts’ moving from fragmented, single issue solutions to integrated whole
solutions – which can seem overwhelming at times –let’s not
forget the values of Play,
Laughter, and Nurturing Humor; so during this Taurus time let’s go spread some joy!
~
The Story:
“To everything there is
a season, a time to sow and a time to harvest…” April showers…. May flowers… taking the time to look deeply at our life does
sometimes bring a tear or two, but the flowers we receive in return are well
worth it. We can awaken to the depths of our true
nature through honest and sincere self-investigation by asking ourselves these
two powerful questions, “Who am I?”
And “What do I really want?”
In Aries we saw the playfulness of life awakening
after the winter slumber… In Taurus we connect with and establish our
values because Taurus’ gift is the gift of understanding and the Tree of
Life is a Taurus symbol.
Taurus’ roots go deeply into the Earth, and from our strong and health roots
our crown grows towards the light, reaching for the sublime. Our roots
establish how and where we feel at home, from the treetops we gain perspective.

The Dance:
life wasn’t meant to be a struggle! ~ The dance of life is a
dance of two tensions,
our desires for both autonomy and belonging; so in dancing we separate and
connect, we contract and we expand as we breathe in and breathe out and our
Personal Yearly Cycle helps us integrate the two and show us how to value
ourselves so we can love life and each other…
“Out of Tao comes unity; out of unity comes two;
from two comes three; from three all things come. The shade of Yin is the back of everything; the light of Yang
is on the face of everything. From their blending together balance
exists in the world. The concept of is ever present. It is the Mystic Female
from whom the heavens and the earth originate. Constantly, continuously,
enduring always. Honor Her! ~ Lay Tzu, Tao Te Ching ~

Goddess
of the Month: YOU ~ because, “our feelings are what gives your thoughts creative power!”
as we learn in Masaru Emoto’s beautiful book, The Hidden Messages in Water
where shares his photographic discoveries of how our feelings, thoughts, words,
and environmental factors affect water molecules. When exposed to our loving energy,
we create “beautiful, brilliant, complex, symmetrical patterns;” when exposed
to negativity or polution water forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with
dull colors.
So as we
dance with Taurus, let’s remember our attitude is energy set in motion toward
beauty or toward dullness – may we all Dance with Joy, Grace, and Beauty. ~
Namesta! ~
